Description
Copse began life in 2020 as as an exchanging of musical ideas between guitarists and work colleagues Phil Vernon and Craig Mallard during the lockdowns enforced by the global pandemic. As the world slowly returned to normal, bassist Rob Collier, drummer Ryan Westwood and vocalist Ed Garrood-Gibbs were recruited and the songs were finalised and became the debut record "Mara | Mondrem". The record was produced, mixed and mastered at Bandit Studios by Jonny Renshaw (Devil Sold His Soul, The Elijah, Blood Youth, Rinoa) and was independently released to critical acclaim in February 2022.
